Chris “Doc” Tarr is a true cheesehead at heart. He grew up in (what was then) rural Waukesha County and now lives in Mukwonago with his wife, Amy, and the two youngest of their four children.

A “radio guy” at heart, Chris got started in the business at a young age after visiting his older brother at a polka radio station in Hartford. He fell in love with radio and has been involved in it continuously since the age of 15.

He’s been on the air in Green Bay, Milwaukee, Chicago, and exotic locations such as Ripon. In 2000, Chris changed directions and went from being behind the microphone to making sure the radio stations stay on the air and is now the Group Director of Engineering for Magnum Media. However, he still has being behind the microphone in his blood!

Chris and Amy enjoy playing with their Grandsons, giving them lots of sugar, and sending them home to their parents. They’re also very active in their Church and community.
