Angine de Poitrine is getting ready to release its second album, Vol. II, on April 2. The Canadian math rock duo has been building attention quickly in recent months, helped by a YouTube clip that introduced the band to a much wider audience. That surge in interest is already carrying over into live shows, with their May dates in London, Bristol, and Leeds now sold out. More live appearances are also on the schedule, including sets at The Great Escape in Brighton and End Of The Road later in the year.

The upcoming release follows the band’s 2024 debut, Angine De Poitrine Vol. 1, and adds another chapter to a project that has stood out for both its sound and presentation. Along with the album news, a live session filmed for KEXP at ESMA in Rennes, France, during Trans Musicales in December 2025 was also shared. The new album features six tracks: Fabienk, Mata Zyklek, Sarniezz, UTZP, Yor Zarad, and Angor. With a masked look, an offbeat visual identity, and a style rooted in microtonal and math rock ideas, the duo has turned online curiosity into real momentum.
