Céline Dion experienced an unexpected moment during her Paris concert on Wednesday, October 7, when she lost her balance and fell onstage before quickly getting back up and continuing her performance.

The incident occurred at the Plenitude Arena in Nanterre, just outside Paris. Concert footage shared on social media shows the 58-year-old singer performing her 1998 song Dans un autre monde when her flared pants appeared to catch under her heel, causing her to fall.

Dion immediately stood up, gave the audience a reassuring thumbs-up, and continued singing without stopping the show. She also briefly told fans not to worry.

The moment came during Dion’s highly anticipated return to regular live performances after a six-year absence.

The Grammy-winning singer publicly revealed her diagnosis of stiff-person syndrome in December 2022. The rare neurological condition causes muscle stiffness and painful spasms, leading her to cancel several scheduled performances.

Her Paris residency, which began in September 2026, marks an important chapter in her return to the concert stage. Despite the brief fall, Wednesday’s performance continued as planned.
