The Combs family has officially grown to a party of five. This past Thursday, Feb. 19, 2026, country superstar Luke Combs and his wife, Nicole, introduced their newborn son, Chet Wiley Combs, to the world.
The couple shared the milestone through a series of intimate family photos, including a quiet moment of Chet meeting his big brothers, Tex Lawrence (3) and Beau Lee (2). In the announcement, Nicole revealed that while Feb. 19 was the baby’s official due date, the family had actually been “soaking up newborn snuggles” at home for a few weeks already.
The early arrival explains Combs’ surprise exit from the Madden Bowl lineup during Super Bowl weekend earlier this month, a move he apologized for at the time, saying that “family always comes first.” The couple also kept the baby’s sex a surprise throughout the pregnancy, a change from the reveal parties they hosted for their first two sons.
The timing of Chet’s arrival provides a rare window of family time for the “Hurricane” singer. Combs is currently preparing for his massive My Kinda Saturday Night Tour, which kicks off March 21 in Las Vegas. Fans can expect the new era to be heavily influenced by his growing household. His upcoming album, The Way I Am, features the track “Days Like These,” which served as the soundtrack to his original pregnancy announcement last fall.
